Rachel and Kevin decided to elope in one of their favorite places to visit in Colorado: Crested Butte.

The morning of their elopement began at the elegant Scarp Ridge Lodge in downtown Crested Butte. With both of their families being out of state and unable to attend, Rachel and Kevin had the sweetest Zoom calls with them after getting dressed. After the calls and a little bit of champagne, it was time for Rachel and Kevin to see each other. I met them on one of the beautiful trails at the Woods Walk, where Rachel walked down a treelined path to see Kevin.

Shortly after the first look, Rachel and Kevin exchanged their vows and were treated to lovely readings from their friends and Rachel’s brother. Their pups even got to come along and be dogs of honor, which is always the best! After the ceremony, they popped more bottles of champagne and took in the beautiful mountain views as the sun began to set. Following the ceremony, I set off further down the trail with Rachel and Kevin for golden hour.

For dinner, they reserved a couple of tables at the cutest farm-to-table restaurant, The Sunflower. It was located on the main street in town and had a charming back patio with a covered heated tent. The atmosphere was cozy, chic, inviting, and just wonderful. The food was also spectacular, with the Beet Root Ravioli being the crowd favorite.

The afterparty took place at an Airbnb their friends were staying at nearby. They had turned the living room into a legit dance floor, even hanging lights. The night ended with so much fun dancing and singing – it was one for the books!

Here are a few of my favorite photos from their adventure. Congrats once again, Rachel & Kevin! 🙂
